I've done my research, and from what I've gathered this far, here are six competitions that will allow the entrepreneurship side of you to shine!
Organised by Singapore Management University (SMU) Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC) is open to all Secondary School, Junior College, Centralised Institute and ITE students in Singapore. A platform for youths, it is an opportunity for them to showcase their entrepreneurial talents and business ideas and attract seed funding as well.
Participants will be able to learn from various entrepreneurs under their mentor-ship and not to mention, a chance to extend their network of friends and business contacts.
By the end of the day, participants will experience to pitch in front of a big live audience. Days filled with excitement indeed!
The registration deadline:
28 February 2018
1) The 2018 theme: Smart Cities
2) Key dates:
A 9-month long startup accelerator programme, ideasinc by Nanyang Technopreneurship Center provides a platform for youths to actualise their ideas. They too will be able to seek expert advice and mentor-ship under those with rich industrial experience in the business fields.
At the end of the day, they will be given the opportunity to pitch for many rewards including cash, business grants and equity investments.
Applications will start from 1 February 2018 to 31 March 2018. More details will be sent out by then.

Check out this for more information with regards to 2017 event.
2. Startup Grand Challenge
2017's Social Venture Challenge focuses on directing ambitious and innovative early stage entrepreneurs (there is no age limit!) into taking hold of their creative business ideas to solve social issues, producing a positive and sustainable impact in Asia.
Besides exciting cash prizes to grab, Social Venture Challenge is unique as they provide six months of post-competition support for the finalist teams.
Digital Business Challenge, organized by Republic polytechnic, provides a platform for secondary school students to experience and showcase their innovative ideas while embracing entrepreneurship as a whole. Ideation, workshop, mentorship and actual selling, there’s so much to experience!
Without a doubt, with more than 1000 students from more than 80 participating schools over ten editions, DBC has essentially given many opportunities for these youths.
Additionally, 2017’s event was powered by ecommerce partners, Carousell and Ezbuy, who provided the event’s digital platforms as well as training for the secondary school students. So do look forward to something exciting in 2018!
Looking to interact and learn from many individuals who have a wealth of experience to share from?
YSE allows participants to do so!
YSE also aims to provide a platform for youths of different nationalities to start or advance in their social enterprises in Singapore and beyond.
Once admitted, participants will attend a 4-day workshop held in Singapore and will be given the opportunity to pitch to be shortlisted into the programme itself, which includes mentorship scheme; overseas study visit and an opportunity to pitch for funding.
Sadly, the 2018's application deadline was on the 10th of December 2017.
